Bersabarlah...

Wahai ibu-ibu yang mengandung, keletihan kita meneruskan daily life sewaktu kita mengandung memang tak dapat diduga...Mana nak settle kerja, rumah lagi, nak jaga suami dan kebajikan dia, macam-macam la kan. Ada sesetengah ibu tu are lucky enough tak ada langsung problem keletihan melampau sewaktu pregnant. Macam saya, first 3 months ok je, tapi bila perut dah start naik masuk month 4 tu, aduh, memang meletihkan..tambahan lagi tengah sambung study...penatnya tuhan aje yang tahu. Selera pulak mencanak-canak naiknya tapi saya make sure apa yang saya makan tu takkan menjejaskan baby...(sayang sangat kat dia). Pada waktu2 macam ni, pada pendapat saya para dad - to -be mesti memahami wife's condition, bukan mudah nak go thru pregnancy ni tau...dan kena byk bersabar dengan kerenah isteri tu...especially mummies yang mudah sgt emose....mudah terguris perasaannya (it happened to me too, out of nowhere tiba-tiba rasa nak nangis je)....kalau boleh kurang2kanlah tinggalkan isteri tu mcm gi borak kedai kopi ke, golfing dgn kawan ke, sebab selama 9 bulan ni tersangatla kritikal keperluan adanya suami di sisi isteri yang tengah sarat tu....

Stroller Oh Stroller...

The first stroller that me and hubby bought pre-delivery of our baby is a Sweet Cherry one....Bulky, heavy but I consider safe for a newborn baby I guess...We bought it at a very cheap price not knowing that when it is fitted into our carboot, dia je yang penuhkan ruang....sigh...(nanti I upload photo) La ni duk kat rumah babysitter since she has been complaining that my son is too heavy to be 'dukung' now...sigh lagi...

Then we got ur cute little Combi, light aluminium frame only that when my baby turns 6 month, he outgrew the stroller!!!..And to the ultimate level of my worries, takutnyala Combi tu terbalik as I happened to hear and see a few cases where babies fell out of strollers or collapse together with it when someone bumped into it in shopping complexes in the middle of people crowd.



So now I am in my mission nak cari the best stroller for my baby....Love Quinny ZAPP 8 kilos (tapi takleh recline) baby I suka nap time shopping...sian dia, suka McLaren Quest 6.5 kilos (Tapi I 'd love to have a 3 wheeler) or Bebeconfort Loola (beratnya...10kilos it alone)...Any suggestion?????

Babysitter...

Salam...tengah pening ni babysitter nak bouncer/rocker...Even worst, she asked for a 'buai' before. Sigh....My baby was only 4 months old at that time and the babysitter wanted a 'buai' so that she could do her other chores easier!!! Geramnye. Only God knows why i don't really like my son to be put in a 'buai'...Yeah, God knows why....



NO!NO!NO

After a deep inner thought, I decided to get Anakku bakul bouncer (nanti I upload pic) to assist babysitter in her effort nak lenakan my baby...Hopefully he will sleep well in it...Amin.

My Buddies....

These are my breastpump buddies......



Ni swing....seldom guna sangat sebab meant for travelling purpose. Suction tak power macam PISA tapi oklah, dapatla 5-5.5 oz per pump session, provided that the session takes at least 20-30 minutes...tapi time I tengah stress, nak dapat 3 oz pun nangis....

Ni pulak cik PISA i, LOVE IT SOOOOO MUCH. Very helpful time tengah2 malam nak cepat2 je mata ni nak pejam time ngantuk during pump session.

Hello..this is Harmony by Medela..Bessssst sangat...dengan Harmony ni la dari 0.5 oz I dapat up to 5-6-7 oz....tapi both breasts la.....syoknya kalau macam mummies yang sekali pump dapat banyak tu...cemburu sangat. Tapi I bersyukur sebab until now my baby boy still being breastfed. Alhamdulillah...

This is my FIRST breastpump ever...hubby belikan time tengah zero knowledge hl-hal berkaitan pumps and mengepam...I love the suction strength..memang comparable la to Avent. First time pump I dapat 3 oz sebelah breast time pantang. Tapi yang lecehnya dia tak cute macam Harmony...I takleh sumbat masuk hobo I. I would never ever letgo this Playtex sebab sentimental value...........

PUMP IDAMAN.....

FREESTYLE.....Ni pump yang I terliur nak beli tapi since dah ada PISA tu....maybe next pregnancy. Mahal la.

Worries and pregnancy seem to go hand in hand. Fortunately, however, most women of childbearing age are healthy and most pregnancies are considered "low-risk." For most women, the surest way to have a healthy baby is to live a healthy lifestyle. The March of Dimes suggests the following precautions:

  • Get early prenatal care, even before you're pregnant.

  • Eat a well-balanced diet, including a vitamin supplement that contains folic acid.

  • Exercise regularly with your doctor's permission.

  • Avoid alcohol, cigarettes, and illicit drugs, and limit caffeine.

  • Avoid x-rays, hot tubs, and saunas.

  • Avoid infections.


According to the March of Dimes, a pregnant woman should increase her daily food portions to include:

  • 6 to 11 servings of breads and other whole grains

  • 3 to 5 servings of vegetables

  • 2 to 4 servings of fruits

  • 4 to 6 servings of milk and milk products

  • 3 to 4 servings of meat and protein foods

  • 6 to 8 glasses of water, and no more than one soft drink or cup of coffee per day to limit caffeine.

1. Eat the sahur meal

2. Limit fat and sweet food intake

3. Drink more plain water

4. Break your fast with dates or fresh fruits and vegetables before taking main meal

5. Eat moderately and stop before feeling full

6. Take a short walk after eating for better digestion

Puasa and Pregnancy

Masa first time puasa waktu pregnant, kandungan saya masa tu dah 4 bulan lebih kurang... berkobar-kobar semangat nak puasa penuh sebab memikirkan tak nak mengganti puasa macam selalu...cabaran besar juga sebab saya bila dah masuk 2nd trimester, nafsu makan meluap-luap especially part minum air. And for sure, time tu lah berat badan naik mendadak, daripada 56 kilo masa 5th month pregnancy, terus naik 61 kilo bila kandungan mencecah akhir bulan ke enam..alhamdulillah, saya tidak mengalami sebarang kesulitan berpuasa semasa mengandung, suami pun alhamdulillah ringan tangan membantu hal-hal rumahtangga..bagi mummies yang first time berpuasa sewaktu mengandung, banyak2lah buat rujukan tips berpuasa sewaktu mengandung. selain dapat petua makanan yang memberi xtra tenaga, boleh juga tambah pengetahuan dalam hal-hal berkaitan penjagaan kandungan sewaktu mengandung. Saya dulu selalu surf laman web Dr Ismail Thamby berkenaan kesihatan wanita. Memang banyak membantu. Kalau minum air milo with oat, memang lama juga kenyang...cuma bila dah nak ke senja sebelum berbuka tu, masyaalah, dahaga tak terkata..bila berbuka, habis se 'mug' besar air saya teguk...gulp!gulp!
